He came to steal thousands of Russian soldiers into the Horde, but he is ready to be content with only a part of Grand Duke Yaroslav returns the princess.

Synopsis

Set at the end of the 13th century, Zolotaya Orda dramatizes the turbulent era when Ancient Russia was under the Tatar-Mongol yoke. Grand Prince Yaroslav dreams of uniting the fragmented Russian principalities and freeing his people from the Mongol rulers. However, his ambitions are threatened by his disgraced brother Boris and eldest son Vladimir, who both have their own designs for power.

The envoy of the Golden Horde, Mengu-Temir (also known as Tengri-Temir), a shrewd diplomat and notorious womanizer, arrives in the Russian capital demanding more soldiers for the Horde. Political intrigue boils over when he proposes a scandalous trade: exempting the region from military requisition in exchange for Ustinya, the wife of Boris. Loyalties, faith, and tradition are tested as women play key roles in the fate of both kingdoms, and unexpected passions complicate alliances.

Meanwhile, in the steppe, Berke, the aging Khan of the Horde, desperately seeks an heir and takes the young Ayzhan as his new wife, leading to conflict, sacrifice, and a blending of intimate and political destinies
