The Trees Have Eyes is a low-budget American horror film released in 2020. The film takes classic zombie tropes into a New England forest, blending elements of survival horror and 1980s-style slasher aesthetics. Originally shot in 2014 and initially titled “Dead Bounty,” the movie was later released under its current title.

A group of bounty hunters ventures into a vast New England forest to track down a dangerous fugitive. While pursuing their target, they quickly find themselves not just outmatched by their quarry, but also beset by a relentless horde of the undead. Isolated, under attack, and with no apparent hope for rescue, the hunters and a group of local youths must work together to survive the night—and the determined zombie menace.While on the search of a fleeing felon, a group of bounty hunters head into a vast New England forest in hopes to capture this dangerous man. While on the trail of their quarry, the group encounters more than just a murderer on the run when they are confronted with a seemingly endless horde of the undead.
