Synopsis

Gunwali Dulhaniya is a romantic comedy revolving around Sharmili, a bride-to-be from Lucknow, who is kidnapped on her wedding day by Bhaiyaji, with a hefty ransom of 5 crore demanded from her family. However, a letter is discovered stating that she has eloped with her lover, causing confusion and chaos among her family members. The plot thickens as it remains uncertain whether Sharmili has been kidnapped or has eloped, sparking a series of twists, comedic situations, and a “hatke climax.” The film is noted for its bindaas heroine, oddball kidnappers, and a quirky journey to Nainital, mixing romance and humor.
